About SIMHA

Our Mission

SIMHA is dedicated to providing a full continuum of high quality mental health care in the Sephardic community, breaking stigmas that often prevent those in need from seeking treatment.
Using cutting edge, evidence-based protocols and prioritizing education, awareness and communal support, SIMHA services and programming are a lifeline to members of the Sephardic community struggling with mental health challenges, both large and small.

Our Story

While the Sephardic community has been blessed with many organizations designed to benefit those facing particular needs, mental health has long been an overlooked area.
SIMHA was born in 2021 to address issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, behavioral disorders, bipolar disorder and others. Its multi-pronged approach prioritizes professionalism, confidentiality and cultural sensitivity, supporting community members facing mental health challenges.

SIMHA’s licensed clinicians are at front lines of mental health education and awareness, deploying innovative and evidence-based methods to provide confidential care while breaking stigmas.
